St. Brigid’s Day 2021
St. Brigid’s Day on February 1st marks the start of Celtic spring. The ancient Celtic festival of Imbolc, on February 1st, celebrates the arrival of longer, warmer days and the early signs of spring. It is one of the four major “fire” festivals referred to in Irish mythology. Happy St. Brigid’s Day to all and roll on Spring & Summer.
Those who make St. Brigid’s Crosses at home can leave them into Church today to have them blessed during the 7.00 pm Mass on February 1st.
