Planning Your Wedding Mass
A listing of sample readings for a Wedding Mass are available from the link below. Weddings usually have:
- A First Reading from the Old Testament
- A Responsorial Psalm
- A Second Reading from the News Testament
- An Alleluia Verse and a Gospel Reading.
It is usual (but not mandatory) for the Responsorial Psalm and the Alleluia Verse to be sung. Additional appropriate secular readings may be read but they must not substitute the scripture readings.
