A very successful Social Night was held on August 2nd last as part of the Gathering programme of events. The Davitt Hall was packed to capacity for the occasion. Music was provided by the very talented Mick Mulhearn and friends. Guests enjoyed a wonderful meal which was catered for by Horkan’s Bay Leaf Resstaurant in Turlough – with a lot of help from very dedicated and hardworking local volunteers.
M.C. for the night was Jim Mulroy who also oversaw the raffles for the many great spot prizes on offer throughout the evening. Many thanks to the local business who donated very substantial prizes for this purpose.

Dancing continued long into the night and everyone (eventually) went home after a marvelous social occasion. Well done to all involved in organising the event.
