The Gathering Weekend concluded with the annual Fun Day. The sun shone and added to a very pleasant & action packed afternoon. The Mayo V. Donegal at 4:00pm meant that the running order was adjusted. This added to the enjoyment – more fun in less time!! There were lots of competitions, with many new ones this year.

The Sheaf Throwing competition was as popular as ever, as was the Cake of the Parish competition. The novelty competitions for adults was new this year as was the Townland of the Parish competition which attracted much attention.
