An Ecumenical Prayer Service for the Week of Christian Unity – took place in the Church of Ireland, Foxford on Thursday, January 19th last at 8.00pm. The guest preacher was Bishop Patrick Rooke, Church of Ireland Bishop of Tuam, Killala and Achonry. The theme of this year’s week of prayer was “Crossing Barriers – Reconciliation – the Love of Christ compels us – (2 Cor. 5:14-20.)”
