It is with sadness we share the news of the death of Peter Murphy, Ummoon. Peter’s remains will repose at his home in Ummoon on Tuesday 4th January from 5pm to 8pm with Requiem Mass on Wednesday 5th January in St Peter and Paul’s Church, Straide, at 12pm followed by burial afterwards in Straide Cemetery. House strictly private on Wednesday morning. The funeral Mass will be livestreamed on www.straideparish.com.
In keeping with current government advice and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings, the funeral Mass will have a maximum of fifty percent of capacity in attendance. Please ensure all hand sanitizing and social distancing guidelines are respected. Also, please refrain from handshaking in the home, at the church, during the funeral Mass and at the cemetery. Face coverings must be worn at all times.
