First Communion and Confirmation 2021

First Holy Communion – Saturday, September 11^th  11.00 am

Confirmation – Saturday, September 25^th  (exact time to be confirmed later by the bishop who may have other commitments on that day).

Ideally, the sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation should take place on a Sunday during the public parish Mass. However, it is likely that the numbers allowed to be present for each occasion will have to be reduced again this year. Thus, both ceremonies will take place this year on Saturdays and not during Sunday Masses.

The above dates have now been agreed upon and finalised. They are, however, subject to any public health restrictions that may be in place at the time. It is not known, at present, how many family and friends will be allowed to attend either event. Hopefully, this information will be provided by the government over the summer. Families will be advised once the information is known.
